Ministry is defined as “the act of serving” and serving is just what Bobby Morris and Charles White are doing with a modern and new way of serving. Bobby and Charles are reaching out to youth in a way that will reach them best: the internet. Through a spunky e-zine that ministers to youth and young adults in fashion that appeals to the modern ways of the day and also to the spirit. Person 2 Person is designed with youth and young adults in mind. Through this free e-zine, they are spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many categories to visit. Once on their site you can find interviews with popular stars and figures to help provide positive Christian role models. Past interviews have featured celebrities such as Lou Holtz (former head football coach for Notre Dame and current head coach for the University of South Carolina), Brandon Slay (2000 Olympic gold medallist in wrestling), Dale Jarrett (champion NASCAR driver and fellow ELCA Lutheran), Jennifer Knapp (Grammy nominated and Dove award winning musician), Sara Evans (country music star) and in February, Tony McAnany (Grammy, Tony and Dove award winning 

writer/producer of artists such as Madonna, Missy Elliot and others).

The focus of the ministry may be youth and young adults, but is also an outreach youth ministers, parents, teachers and others who work with youth or young adults. "What we do is challenge youth - and those who minister to them- youth ministers, Pastors, Sunday 

School teachers, parents, etc.-to think about the issues that face them and to reflect on how these issues impact their faith, their families and their community," explains White. Visitors to the site are offered encouraging discussion and interaction, faith stories, and all opinions and ideas are safe in a unique, non-denominational forum.  In this way, the e-zine seeks to lift up the importance of faith, family, and community in everyday life.

The founders of Person 2 Person Christian E-zine are Bobby Morris, a PhD candidate in Old Testament at Vanderbilt University and Charles White, a graduate of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary with a Master of Sacred Theology. In response to the growing rates of violence, fear, tragedy, depression, suicide and other challenges faced by teens, these two graduates from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C. set out to give youth a place to air their opinions, their concerns and to see some positive possibilities for role models among their more famous peers, as well as older celebrities. "One of the biggest problems we saw that hindered youth was a lack of 

communication," observed Bobby Morris, the site's co-founder. Youth need a place to safely address issues and the problems facing them. They need a place where faith stories are shared-where they can share their faith story."
